(JP) 東京大学大学院工学系研究科（研究科長 加藤泰浩、中尾研究室教授 中尾彰宏、以下東京大学）、山梨県富士山科学研究所（所長 藤井敏嗣、以下富士山研）は、2023年10月14日・15日に富士山において、ローカル5Gシステムと商用の低軌道衛星インターネットアクセスサービスとを接続し、山域における情報通信インフラの脆弱性を解消する実証実験を実施しました。

(JP) シャープ株式会社、株式会社KDDI総合研究所、国立大学法人京都大学、国立大学法人東京大学大学院工学系研究科の４者の研究開発成果が、本年9月15日に、「3GPP RAN plenary」にて5G-Advancedの初版として策定されたリリース18の物理レイヤーの標準仕様に採択されました。これは、４者が共同で行った5G-Advancedの標準採択を目的とした無線リンク技術の研究開発や、移動通信システムの仕様を策定する国際プロジェクトである3GPPへの研究開発成果に基づいた技術提案、同プロジェクト内での合意形成推進などによるものです。

(JP) 国立大学法人東京大学大学院工学系研究科（所在地：東京都文京区、研究科長：加藤 泰浩、以下「東京大学」）と、日本電気株式会社（本社：東京都港区、取締役 代表執行役社長 兼 CEO：森田 隆之、以下「NEC」）は、高周波の利活用を目指したBeyond 5G共同研究技術の社会実装に向けて、「キャンパステストベッドへの共同研究技術の導入」と「未来社会創造に向けた共創活動」を開始いたしました。

(JP) 東京大学大学院工学系研究科 中尾研究室（教授：中尾 彰宏、以下「東京大学」）は、先般発表（関連のプレスリリース）した超小型ソフトウェア無線（Software Defined Radio、以下SDR）ボードを組み込み、屋外設置可能な小型ローカル5Gシステムの開発に成功しました。本システムは従来品と比べ（1）小型（2）コスト低廉化（3）低消費電力（4）柔軟性（最新機能を柔軟に追加可能）(5)迅速展開性（インターネット接続するだけで迅速に設置可能）という5つの特徴を持っています。先般開発した機能をプログラマブル可能な超小型のSDRを汎用コンピュータ（SBC; Single Board Computer）に組み込むことで、これらの5つの特徴を実現しています。

(JP) 日本電気株式会社（以下 NEC）、国立大学法人東京大学大学院工学系研究科（中尾研究室・教授 中尾彰宏、以下 東京大学）およびNECプラットフォームズ株式会社（以下 NECプラットフォームズ）は、ローカル5Gの基地局・5Gコア・マルチアクセスエッジコンピューティング（以下 MEC）を一体化した移動・自律運用可能な通信ソリューションの実証機を共同で開発しました。 今回の通信ソリューションの共同開発は、ローカル5Gを活用して様々な現場のDX化を推進するための取り組みの一環です。電源・バックホール回線の用意が難しい災害現場や山間部向けに、ローカル5Gネットワークを迅速かつ一時的に構築するソリューションとして、今後商用化を目指します。

(JP) 国立大学法人東京大学（（所在地：東京都文京区、総長：藤井　輝夫）大学院工学系研究科 中尾研究室（教授：中尾彰宏）、以下 東京大学）、日本無線株式会社（本社：東京都中野区、 代表取締役社長：小洗 健、以下 JRC）並びにスカパーＪＳＡＴ株式会社（本社：東京都港区、 代表取締役　執行役員社長：米倉 英一、以下 スカパーＪＳＡＴ）は2021年3月16日、静止衛星とローカル5Gを接続する共同実証実験を行い、国内で初めてローカル5Gと衛星回線の統合 ネットワークにおける映像伝送に成功致しました。本実験は、国立研究開発法人情報通信研究機構（本部：東京都小金井市、理事長：徳田 英幸）が実施する『研究開発課題：Beyond 5G における衛星-地上統合技術の研究開発』に係る研究 開発委託事業の一環として実施されました。

(JP) 東京大学は第５世代通信（５Ｇ）と次の世代「ビヨンド５Ｇ」（６Ｇ）の利活用で横断的な教育研究を手がける「次世代サイバーインフラ連携研究機構」を立ち上げた。法や倫理、公共政策など人文・社会科学系も含む１２部局が持つ知識を統合。キャンパス全体をテストベッドとし、データガバナンスを含む実践的な「総合知」の活用に取り組む。すでに企業２社の支援による社会連携講座の設置も決めた。
