On April 15, 2026, at the Digital Nations Summit Tokyo 2026 held at JW Marriott Tokyo, the XG Mobile Promotion Forum (XGMF) signed the Tokyo Accord with all four telecommunications operators from the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region and the 6G Forum.
The XG Mobile Promotion Forum (XGMF), co-chaired by Professor Akihiro Nakao, promotes the deployment of 5G and the research and development of Beyond 5G technologies. Through global consensus-building, XGMF aims to foster strategic and efficient investment.
