(JP) シャープ株式会社、株式会社KDDI総合研究所、国立大学法人京都大学、国立大学法人東京大学大学院工学系研究科の4者の研究開発成果が、本年9月15日に、「3GPP RAN plenary」にて5G-Advancedの初版として策定されたリリース18の物理レイヤーの標準仕様に採択されました。これは、4者が共同で行った5G-Advancedの標準採択を目的とした無線リンク技術の研究開発や、移動通信システムの仕様を策定する国際プロジェクトである3GPPへの研究開発成果に基づいた技術提案、同プロジェクト内での合意形成推進などによるものです。
